Solution 1：Adding a Bathtub Spout without Changing the Shower Valve

This no-replace shower valve is the lowest cost solution. We just need to add a tub spout and replace the original shower holder.

Steps:
1. Add a bathtub spout with diverter

2. Replace the original shower holder (with diverter) with a new shower holder without diverter.

The two interfaces of the original shower hose are the connected handheld shower head and the shower holder. After renovation, the two interfaces of the shower hose will be connected to the handheld shower head and the bath tub spout.

After the shower system is modified in this way, it can be used three functions: handheld shower head, rain shower head, and bathtub spout. When you switch the knob to open handheld shower head, you can choose whether the water flows from the handheld shower head or from the tub spout by controlling the diverter valve at the tub spout.

Solution 2：Replacing the Shower Valve with a Tub Spout Function

Because the shower valve we are using now is only two functions (handheld shower head and rain shower head). If we want to add a new function: bathtub spout, then we need to replace the two-function shower valve with a three-function shower valve. In this way, the shower system can realize three functions: handheld shower head, rain shower head and tub spout.
